Heaven's Shoo-Ins

Here's the interesting fact of the day brought to you by my psychology class. When asked who is at least "somewhat likely" to make it into Heaven, the second highest person was Mother Teresa, with 79% of Americans answering "yes". I'll bet you'd never guess the only person that beat her out.

Drum roll please.....

The most heavenly shoo in, with 87%, is "me". (People answering the survey and believing that they themselves will make it to Heaven.)

Ironic and a bit sad, no?

i think that is kinda interesting. maybe we should all apply for sainthood. funny now we might rate mother T on her outward works of goodness and kindness and yet countoursleves even higher knowing that we do so many things wrong everyday...
really interesting...
no wonder Jesus tells us to do good works so that it might honor our father in heaven.

Yea, this one fact really puts a new spin on Bible verses. Maybe our over-confidence is sometimes worse than the best of Satan's antics.
